Warehouse/Assembly General Assistant

Company Fusion Limited is working with a well established food service solutions business who are the largest premium catering equipment supplier in the UK. For over 40 years, they have built their considerable expertise and now represent over 100 top brands. We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Assembly General Assistant to join their dedicated team near Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

The Package - What you could earn

• Basic salary paying between £16000 - £19000 per annum depending on experience.
• Full time, Monday to Friday hours from 8.00am – 4.30pm.

Warehouse/Assembly General Assistant - Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• The key role of the Warehouse/Assembly General Assistant is to provide support and flexibility to the company’s expanding Warehouse & Assembly Team.
• Learn the day-day operation of the warehouse/production.
• This role will involve the assembly of Key Items prior to despatch.
• Learn to assess incoming stock for quicker turn around, part of the warehouse operation.
• Assist with stocktaking, local deliveries and collections.
• Building Maintenance.

The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:

• You will be a flexible, adaptable individual with the willingness to learn new skills.
• Physically fit as some heavy lifting is required.
• Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.
• A full driving licence.
• Pedestrian truck experience (preferable but not essential as training will be given for the right candidate)
• Ideally you will have some basic maintenance and basic plumbing experience (preferable but not essential as training will be given).
