Advertising Sales Manager
Crowborough, East Sussex
£30,000 - £40,000 per Annum
Company Fusion Limited is working with a well established publishing group. They are currently responsible for the members’ magazine for Europe’s biggest independent grocery buying group. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager to join their busy team based in East Sussex.
The Package - What you could earn
- Basic salary paying between £30,000 to £40,000 per annum
- Genuinely uncapped commission
- Full pension support
Advertising Sales Manager - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- As Sales Manager you will cover the national sales area and will be expected to travel to meet clients within the UK, as well as attending conferences and exhibitions.
- Continue to develop and maintain relationships with a well-established existing client base.
- You will also grow the business with new and existing clients.
- Selling to mostly FMCG and blue chip companies, the candidate will be expected to manage all accounts and will be responsible for all revenue streams into the magazine and supplements, as well as liaising successfully with the publisher and editorial team.
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- Ideally have a minimum of two years sales experience within a b2b publishing environment.
- Have a proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets in print telesales.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong cold calling, networking, relationship building and business development skills.
- Outstanding telephone and face to face skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Be a proven self-starter.
- A knowledge of the grocery industry would be a bonus, but is not mandatory.
